Description. El Área de Incidencia de Colombia Diversa, en su división de Derechos Humanos, está encargada de recolectar, sistematizar y analizar información sobre la situación de derechos humanos de las personas lesbianas, gays, bisexuales y trans (LGBT) a nivel nacional. Con esta información, se elaboran informes y estudios, se diseñan e implementan estrategias de incidencia ante instituciones del Estado y organismos internacionales de derechos humanos en materia de protección, prevención y acceso a la justicia, y de fortalecimiento organizativo tanto a organizaciones de derechos humanos como a otras organizaciones LGBT. La persona seleccionada trabajará en el equipo del Área apoyando estas labores.

Actividades del cargo:
a) Research and documentation of human rights violations against LGBT people in Colombia.
b) Systematisation of registered cases of human rights violations against LGBT persons in Colombia Diversa's databases.
c) Administration of Colombia Diversa's database of human rights violations against LGBT persons.
(d) Monitoring of recorded cases of human rights violations and the actions of the authorities in Colombia.
e) Diseño y desarrollo de metodologías cuantitativas para los estudios de la División de Derechos Humanos.
f) Drafting of the report on LGBT human rights in Colombia.
(g) Preparation of other national reports and documents on the human rights situation of the LGBT population addressed to other organisations, official institutions, multilateral agencies or the media.
(h) To devise and implement strategies for the dissemination of human rights reports in Colombia.
i) To devise and implement advocacy strategies before state institutions and international organisations for the recognition and guarantee of the rights of the LGBT population in Colombia.
j) Other functions assigned by the Directorate of Colombia Diversa in the development of the functions of the position.

Type of Recruitment. Contrato de prestación de servicios, para iniciar en agosto de 2025

Value. Honorarios mensuales por un valor aproximado de $ 6.600.000 pesos colombianos

Dedication. Por cumplimiento de actividades y productos establecidos en el contrato de prestación de servicios.

Requirements:

1. a) Studies.
   Profesional en Economía, Ciencias Políticas, Sociología, Derecho o afines
   ● Postgraduate degree related to the area of work.
   ● At least three (3) years of research experience in quantitative methodologies, mixed methodologies, database management, specialized software (Stata, R, among others). Knowledge of gender and international law is a plus.
   b) Language: Knowledge of English would be an asset.
   c) Lugar de Residencia. Bogotá, Colombia.

Disqualifications for hiring. Natural persons whose family circle includes an employee or contractor up to the second degree of consanguinity, affinity or civil relationship, who is currently linked to the organisation, will be ineligible to contract goods and services with Colombia Diversa. In the case of legal persons, the same restriction will apply in relation to their board of directors or management.
