{"id":4340,"date":"2025-08-13T23:51:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T23:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colombiadiversa.org\/?p=4340"},"modified":"2025-08-13T23:51:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T23:51:12","slug":"position-of-peace-and-transitional-justice-lawyer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colombiadiversa.org\/en\/position-of-peace-and-transitional-justice-lawyer\/","title":{"rendered":"Position: Peace and Transitional Justice Advocate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Date<\/b>: From 12 to 22 March 2025<\/p>\n<p><b>Position.<\/b>\u00a0Lawyer in the Peace and Transitional Justice Area<\/p>\n<p><b>Description.<\/b>\u00a0The person who performs the functions of this position will work under the Coordination of the Peace and Transitional Justice Area of Colombia Diversa or whoever the latter designates as supervisor of the contract and will be in charge of activities related to the promotion of access to transitional justice for victims of gender-based violence in the framework of the armed conflict.<\/p>\n<p><b>Functions.<\/b>\u00a0The main functions include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Accompany and represent victims of gender-based violence before the Special Jurisdiction for Peace in cases of gender-based violence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Support the construction and execution of litigation strategies for the incorporation of the gender approach before the Special Jurisdiction for Peace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Participate in the meetings established by the Peace and Transitional Justice Area team with the different bodies of the SJP, relevant authorities and allied civil society organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Provide consultations and legal advice to the victims of gender-based violence represented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Drafting legal documents for litigation and in the context of victim counselling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Represent the organisation at events, roundtables and in various partnership settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Prepare contract performance reports, submit accounts receivable and social security slips for the collection of fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Support follow-up, monitoring and reporting on Peace and Transitional Justice projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Complete the documentation requested by donors in support of the contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Any other tasks assigned by the Coordination of the Peace and Transitional Justice Area or the Directorate of Colombia Diversa associated with the object of the present contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Type of recruitment.<\/b>\u00a0Fixed-term employment contract of less than one (1) year, as of 31 December 2025, including probationary period.<\/p>\n<p><b>Remuneration.<\/b>\u00a0The monthly salary will be $4.000.000.000 plus statutory benefits.<\/p>\n<p><b>Dedication<\/b>.
