    Since 2004 Colombia Diversa has been committed to building a peaceful society where there are no cases of discrimination against LGBTIQ+ people because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. To fulfil its vision for the country, it has promoted and guaranteed the rights of LGBTIQ+ people through strategic litigation, advocacy and peacebuilding initiatives.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    2. Information on the project:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    In 2024 Colombia Diversa commemorates 20 years of working for the defence of the rights of LGBTIQ+ people, this celebration involves the development of a communication strategy that will focus on building historical memory around the rights of LGBTIQ+ people, reducing the communication gap and encouraging the mobilisation and participation of Colombian society.<\/p>\n

    In the framework of this communication initiative, we are looking for a consultancy to produce a short documentary, under 15 minutes in length, that promotes a positive narrative about the efforts to build a peaceful society from different LGBTIQ+ activists, social organisations, human rights defenders and Colombia Diversa.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    3. Objective of the consultancy:<\/b><\/p>\n

    The purpose of the consultancy is the elaboration of a short documentary in which relevant stories about the different peacebuilding scenarios in Colombia are collected and integrated with archive videos belonging to the Colombia Diversa media observatory, which compiles news broadcasts from 2002 to 2014.<\/p>\n

    4. Deliverables:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

    Short documentary about the social movement that has led the construction of a peaceful society in Colombia for LGBTIQ+ people.
    \n<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Product requirements:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      1. The consultancy should be in charge of recording the testimonies to be used in the short documentary.<\/li>\n
      2. The construction of the graphic line of the short documentary is in charge of the consultancy. So it is expected that the animations, infographics and other audiovisual resources required are aligned with the graphic line of the organisation.<\/li>\n
      3. The video should be 10 to 15 minutes maximum.<\/li>\n
      4. The consultancy should integrate the archival material provided by the organisation in order to build a coherent narrative about the construction of a peaceful society.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         <\/p>\n

        5. Profile\u00a0<\/strong>of the consultancy:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Previous work in pre-production, editing and production of audiovisual products, especially short documentaries.<\/li>\n
        2. Experience in human rights and gender issues.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          6.Value:<\/b>\u00a0the Contract will have a value of approximately $22,000,000,000, the form of payment of which will be subject to negotiation at the time of contract.<\/p>\n

          7.Place:<\/b>\u00a0the consultancy will take place in Bogot\u00e1. It is expected that the socialisation and co-creation spaces will take place in person, in case the bidders are not in Bogota they will have to assume the costs of the transfer.<\/p>\n

          8.To apply for this consultancy you must:<\/b>
          \n1. Submit a technical proposal of work and timetable including the activities described above.
          \nSummary of the profile and experience. The bidder must demonstrate general and specific experience in the structuring, design and implementation of audiovisual products.<\/p>\n

          9. Selection process:<\/b>\u00a0send to mail co***********<\/span>@*************<\/span>sa.org<\/span> your proposal. The call will be open until 18 November 2023 at midnight (Colombia time). The evaluation committee will review the applications and select two or three proposals that will be evaluated according to their relevance. Criteria of experience, academic background and previous experience with communications issues and social organisations will be taken into account. Subsequently, the Committee will choose one proposal and the decision will be communicated to all participants. Finally, the Administrative Area of Colombia Diversa will contact you to request additional documents, make the offer and prepare the contract.<\/p>\n

          Receipt of proposals:<\/b>\u00a0until 18 November 2023.<\/p>\n

          The consultancy would start on 09 January 2025 and end on 19 April 2025.<\/p>\n
