The constant repressions and abuses committed by the New York police against them would cause one of the most significant social mobilisations in the world: the \"New York City Police Force\".<strong>he Stonewall Inn riot,\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0struggle that would become the representation of LGBT people's non-conformity in the face of the discrimination and violence they experienced because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.<\/p>\n<p>50 years later, in 2019, we commemorate this date as a symbol of the resistance and resilience of people with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
