  1. Position. Management professional for the implementation of the project "Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women". and logistics for project implementation "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".

 

  1. Object. To contract the services of one (1) professional in project administration and logistics, for the selection of suppliers, organisation of events, and legalisation of travel and per diems and administration, budgetary and financial execution of the project "Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening of feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women", settlement and legalisation of travel and per diems, for the development of activities associated with the project. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".

 

  1. Functions: The Project Management and Logistics Professional will report directly to the Administrative and Financial Management of Colombia Diversa. The main functions include the following:

AECID PROJECT FUNCTIONS:

  • Professional in charge of providing the Colombia Diversa team, its contractors and associates with logistical activities such as: accommodation, food, air and land travel, support material for events and all those actions involved in the planning, organisation and execution of the events and activities of the project. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".
  • Processing project travel and event requests "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".through the management of quotations, purchase of goods and associated services, under organisational policies and procedures, and legalisation of travel expenses.
  • Settle per diems for project trips "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the CELAC-EU Summits".
  • Processing the project's requests for bookings and airline tickets "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".
  • Processing and payment of transport allowances for participants in project events. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".
  • To make quotations for events with suppliers corresponding to accommodation, food, audiovisual aids, rooms and other logistical support required in requests for project activities or internal activities of Colombia Diversa, of the project. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits"..
  • Elaborate and document the competitive processes of the services of accommodation, food, audiovisual aids, rooms for the realisation of the events and elaborate the corresponding service orders, and coordinate with the hotels or suppliers of the corresponding services the fulfilment of the logistical obligations committed until the end of the event, including the final invoicing of the project. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".
  • Keeping control of the legalisation of per diems, transport allowances and attendance lists for the events that have been implemented by the project. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".
  • Ensuring timely payment of travel and associated project events expenses "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".
  • Support all administrative actions assigned by the Project Manager. "Strengthening and Articulation of Civil Society Organisations, Networks and Platforms for the Follow-up of the Celac-Ue Summits".

FUNCTIONS OF THE COOPERATION PROJECT:

  • Responsible for the financial and budgetary management of the project.  Road to Reparation: Access to Justice, Strengthening Feminist Leadership for Peace and Economic Autonomy for LBT Women" and to "The Road to Reparation: Access to Justice, Strengthening Feminist Leadership for Peace and Economic Autonomy for LBT Women".sign the budgetary availability of the above project, in accordance with the accounting information and administrative procedures of the organisation and the donor.
  • Review and authorise expenditure requests for contracting (activities) of the assigned projects, with signature and stamp, of the project "...".Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women".
  • Monitor the budget execution and any modifications to the budget execution and any modifications to the project "Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women"."The project's technical co-ordination in Colombia Diversa.
  • Responsible for ensuring that there is no under- and/or over-execution of the project budget".Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women". and balance the exchange rates managed in the budget.
  • Prepare and send financial reports in conjunction with Colombia Diversa's accountants.
  • Assisting in the financial audits of the project project "Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women". by the accountants of Colombia Diversa.
  • Coordinate with Colombia Diversa's logistics professional on activities related to travel, events and per diems.
  • Attend training, management and progress meetings on project budget execution issues.  "Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women". together with the donor 
  • Direct communication with the donor for the financial and budgetary execution of the project.  "Road to reparation: access to justice, strengthening feminist leadership for peace and economic autonomy for LBT women".
  • Other functions assigned by the Executive Management and the Administrative and Financial Manager of Colombia Diversa in the development of the position.
  1. Type of Recruitment. Fixed term employment contract governed under the Legislation, rates and taxes of the Republic of Colombia, initially it will be less than one (1) year with the possibility of extension according to performance, the contract will be signed initially for up to 3 months.
  2. Value. The Contract will have a value of COP $3.300.000 M/cte. per month plus legal benefits.
  3. Dedication. A dedication of 100% in face-to-face mode is expected.
  4. Requirements.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Professional or undergraduate training in business administration, public accounting, industrial engineering, economics or related fields.
  • Office skills (essential).
  • Knowledge of accounting support and cost centre management.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Indispensable proven experience in the elaboration and execution of budgets for international cooperation projects in Human Rights.
  • Previous experience in procurement of goods and services.
  • Experience in the implementation of agreements with international cooperation agencies and social projects is desirable.
  • Experience in event management, travel and per diem settlement is a prerequisite to apply for the position.
  • Minimum four (4) years of professional experience related to the position.
  • No tax, disciplinary or judicial record.
