Position: Pedagogical professional.
2. Description: The person performing the functions of this position will work under the coordination of the Education Area of Colombia Diversa or whoever is designated by the latter as coordination/supervision of the contract and will be responsible for carrying out formative, communicative and mediation processes to raise awareness, educate and train leaders, civil servants and civil society in guaranteeing the rights of LGBTIQ+ persons in Colombia.
It will support the creation of pedagogical, communicative and graphic content for virtual and face-to-face training processes with emphasis on basic and specialised concepts on non-normative sexual orientations and gender identities, as well as the rights of this population and issues for the prevention of their violation, such as violence due to prejudice and socio-cultural discrimination legitimised in the common cis-hetero population.
It will also work in spaces for mediating difficult conversations with sectors that are undecided or opposed to the rights of LGBTIQ+ people and therefore requires awareness, knowledge, experience and management of tools for non-violent communication, mediation, conflict resolution, dealing with emotions, power relations and processes of peace-building and reconciliation in everyday life.
In this sense, the position is intended for the person hired to carry out training, education and mediation actions to be carried out by Colombia Diversa in Bogotá and other territories in Colombia.
3. Functions: The main functions include the following:
a. Training processes. Create, execute, implement the design, development, monitoring and evaluation of training and capacity building processes on the rights of LGBTIQ+ people in Colombia.
b. Organisational strengthening activities. Support the design, development, monitoring and evaluation of organisational strengthening activities to be carried out with allies in different departments.
c. Internal development of the education area. Support the consolidation of pedagogical strategies to support the mission and strategic plan and the different areas of the organisation.
d. Creation of educational content. Design trainings, workshops, talks, conferences on diversity and the construction of more inclusive environments and services for different audiences, e.g. social organisations, social sector, social services and the public sector.

f. Drafting pedagogical and specialised documents. Draft technical documents that provide pedagogical and formative foundations for the different processes carried out by the area and the organisation.
g. Classification and organisation of educational material. Develop a process of organisation and classification of the educational material available to Colombia Diversa for awareness-raising, education and training for different audiences.
h. Participation in internal and external meetings. He/she will be responsible for participating in the virtual/face-to-face meetings delegated by the Executive Directorate or Coordination of the Education Area, to be held with entities, organisations and
people from civil society related to LGBTIQ+ rights.
i. Reports, accounts receivable and other aspects. Prepare contract execution reports and fill in the respective documentation requested by donors in support of the contract.
j. Other activities and functions that may be established by the Executive Directorate of Colombia Diversa.
4. Type of contract: Contract for the provision of services, governed by the legislation, rates and taxes of the Republic of Colombia. The contract will be signed for a period of execution of three (3) months, with the possibility of extension until 31 December.

5. Value. The contract will have a value of approximately $4,260,000 per month.
6. Dedication. A dedication of approximately 48 hours per week is expected.
7. Qualifications. To be eligible for the position, the person must meet and prove the following requirements:
a. Studies
i. Undergraduate: Bachelor's degree in social sciences, human rights, community pedagogy or other related fields. Professional in social communication with emphasis in education or other related fields.
ii. Postgraduate: Desirable specialisation or master's degree in education, pedagogy, virtual education, educational communication.
b. General experience: 4 years of experience in education and/or 2 years of experience together with a master's degree.
c. Specific experience: 3 years in training processes related to human rights of LGBTIQ+ people, gender, intersectionality of rights of LGBTIQ+ people. At least one year of experience in a process
of mediation dialogues between LGBTIQ+ people and difficult sectors. Participation in dialogue processes with religious sectors would be an asset.
d. Languages: Minimum requirements Spanish C1.
e. Knowledge: The person is expected to have a broad knowledge of the following

8.2. Evaluation. The evaluation committee will pre-qualify the resumes, establishing those that meet the minimum requirements. Subsequently, it will proceed to evaluate and assign a score to them based on the following criteria:

8.3 Interviews. Each interview will last approximately 35 minutes and the committee will assign a score of up to 20 points for the interview. The following aspects will be evaluated:
