Do you remember that in November 2016 the Colombian government and the FARC signed a peace agreement to end a conflict that had been going on for more than 50 years? Well, this Agreement was groundbreaking for many reasons. One of them is that it recognised women and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.
as victims of the war and as peace builders. Indeed, all the points of the Agreement contain measures with a differential approach for LGBT people, adding up to a total of
41 differential measures. Colombia Diversa follows up on these 41 measures in order to verify their implementation at both the normative and operational levels.
