The project "Adelante con la Diversidad II: Fuerzas sociales, políticas y jurídicas para la protección efectiva de los derechos del colectivo LGBTI y sus defensores en la Región Andina" has as its general objective: to guarantee comprehensive security, access to justice and the right to non-discrimination of LGBTI human rights defenders in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

In the framework of the activities of the project Adelante con la Diversidad II, Colombia Diversa (Colombia), Asociación Civil de Desarrollo Social y Promoción Cultural "Libertad"- ADESPROC (Bolivia), Fundación Sendas (Ecuador), Fundación Sendas (Ecuador), Asociación Civil de Desarrollo Social y Promoción Cultural "Libertad"- ADESPROC (Bolivia). y the Centre for the Promotion and Defence of Sexual and Reproductive Rights- PROMSEX (Peru) under the leadership and regional coordination of HivosThe project, with funding from the European Union, is developing activities to strengthen the organisational and participatory capacity of LGBTI human rights defenders and organisations, especially trans and intersex people, in the Andean region, through innovative methodologies such as strategic litigation and political advocacy.

For this reason, the aim is to carry out research and consolidate (1) a litigation and advocacy calendar related to the rights of LGBTI people (2) a document that allows for the analysis of emblematic LGBTI cases in the region, and (3) to compare them in order to draw conclusions, good practices and lessons learned.
