Since 2013, at Colombia Diversa we have been developing a series of criteria indicators to identify what gender-based persecution, specifically motivated by prejudice on Sexual Orientation, Expression and Gender Identity (SOGI), looks like and to report how its elements are or are not met. In addition, we publish the progress we have made so far (August 2024) in the development of a tool for identifying and prioritising risk motivated by prejudice towards non-normative OSIEG. Although this instrument is not yet fully completed, we believe that it can be very useful for entities that deal with security cases to identify and act against the risk-producing motive, prejudice against the OSEIG, from a differential approach by Sexual Orientation, Expression and Gender Identity:
