Position. Abogada/e del Área de Paz y Justicia Transicional

Description. La persona que desempeñe las funciones de este cargo trabajará bajo la Coordinación del Área de Paz y Justicia Transicional de Colombia Diversa o a quien esta designe como supervisora del contrato y se encargará de las actividades relacionadas con la promoción del acceso a la justicia transicional para las víctimas de violencias basadas en género en el marco del conflicto armado.

Functions. The main functions include the following:

• Accompany and represent victims of gender-based violence before the Special Jurisdiction for Peace in cases of gender-based violence.

• Support the construction and execution of litigation strategies for the incorporation of the gender approach before the Special Jurisdiction for Peace.

• Participate in the meetings established by the Peace and Transitional Justice Area team with the different bodies of the SJP, relevant authorities and allied civil society organisations.

• Provide consultations and legal advice to the victims of gender-based violence represented.

• Redactar documentos jurídicos para el litigio y en el marco de la asesoría a víctimas.

• Representar a la organización en el marco de eventos, mesas de trabajo y distintos escenarios del trabajo en alianza.

• Prepare contract performance reports, submit accounts receivable and social security slips for the collection of fees.

• Support follow-up, monitoring and reporting on Peace and Transitional Justice projects.

• Complete the documentation requested by donors in support of the contract.

• Any other tasks assigned by the Coordination of the Peace and Transitional Justice Area or the Directorate of Colombia Diversa associated with the object of the present contract.

Tipo de contratación. Contrato laboral a término fijo inferior a un (1) año, a 31 de diciembre de 2025, incluye periodo de prueba.

Remuneración. El salario mensual será de $4.000.000 más prestaciones de ley.

Dedication. Approximately 40 hours per week are expected.

Requirements.

• Undergraduate degree in law with a valid professional card.

• Experiencia mínima de un año en la representación y/o acompañamiento a víctimas de violencia basada en género, o experiencia de dos años trabajando en justicia transicional.

• The person is expected to have specific knowledge of the functioning of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace.

• Postgraduate studies related to gender, international criminal law or transitional justice would be an asset.

Place of residence: Bogotá.
