1. OBJECTIVE
To contract the services of a natural or legal person with experience and expertise in the design, layout and creation of written, visual and audiovisual products on violence against LGBT people during the Colombian armed conflict.
2. ACTIVITIES AND OUTPUTS
Based on the reading of texts and stories about the implementation of the Peace Agreement between the FARC-EP and the national government, the cover design, the layout of written and visual products and the creation of audio-visual products must be carried out according to the terms indicated here:
- Full colour layout in print version and cover design of an originally 100-page document (in Word) for a book on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325.
- Full colour layout and design for web and print versions of a 15-page infographic summarising a 100-page report on the implementation of the Final Peace Agreement by the Gender and Peace Alliance (GPaz).
- Design and layout in full colour print version and digital version of a traffic light on the implementation of the gender focus measures of the Peace Agreement.
- Full colour printed version of a traffic light on the implementation of the gender focus measures of the Peace Agreement.
- Full colour layout and cover design of 60 pages of a text on how to advance the search process for LGBT people reported missing for community organisations.
- Creation of a video with animated infographics of maximum two minutes on violence against LGBT people in Caquetá (the script will be given to you).
The aforementioned activities will be verified and their technical guidelines supervised and developed by the Colombia Diversa team delegated for this purpose.
3. REQUIREMENTS
The natural or legal persons carrying out the consultancy must meet the following requirements:
(1) Experience in design and layout of research and advocacy texts.
(2) Experience in design and layout of covers on violence against LGBT people.
(3) Experience in creating video products on violence against LGBT people.
4. EXECUTION TIME AND PAYMENTS
Duration. The contract is to run from 24 November to 10 December 2021.
Payment Schedule:
- One-off payment: 100% at the end of the contract.
Each payment shall be subject to COLOMBIA DIVERSA's approval of the delivered product. Adjustments may be requested.
5. VALUE
The consultancy will be worth approximately twenty-two million Colombian pesos ($22,000,000) to twenty-four million Colombian pesos ($24'000,000).
The contract is NOT exempt from the application of fees, withholding and taxes, which depend on the tax regime of the consultant.
If you are a natural person, you may be required to pay social security contributions.
6. INSTRUCTIONS

- RUT of natural persons or legal entities updated to 2021.
- Photocopies of the identity cards of the persons belonging to the team to be consulted.
- Resumes of the consultant team.
- Portfolio of the same, similar or relevant products.
- In case of legal entities, Certificate of Existence and Legal Representation (not older than 30 days).
Deadline: Applications will only be accepted until midnight on 21 November 2021.
Once the proposals have been received, the selection process will be initiated by an Evaluation Committee within Colombia Diversa.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.
COLOMBIA DIVERSA holds the intellectual property of the work and results produced. The products of the consultancy may not be used without written authorisation. Any type of reproduction, publication, dissertation or public disclosure or disclosure to third parties, by any verbal, audiovisual and/or written means of the material from the provision of its services is prohibited. In case of publication, the respective credits shall be mentioned.
The documents produced are intended to be shared with the general public.
8. CONFIDENTIALITY.
The information that becomes known about the case, the family, the persons legally represented by the organisation or COLOMBIA DIVERSA within the framework of the present process will be confidential and may not be disclosed to third parties, unless there is an express written authorisation from COLOMBIA DIVERSA.
