Position: Project Tracking and Monitoring Professional.
Description: The person who works as a Professional in Project Formulation, Follow-up and Monitoring has the function of supporting the Executive Directorate and Area Coordinators in the formulation, follow-up and programmatic monitoring of Colombia Diversa projects, as well as supporting the identification, follow-up and elaboration of new proposals and projects for submission to International Cooperation entities and agencies.
Its functions shall include the following:
1. Support the monthly and six-monthly monitoring of the progress of the Annual Operational Planning (POA) and the Institutional Strategic Plan under the coordination of the Executive Directorate and Area Coordinators.
2. Design and implement monitoring tools that facilitate the monitoring of goals and indicators of the projects being executed by the mission areas and the monitoring of the Annual Operational Plan -POA- and the Institutional Strategic Plan.
3. To permanently monitor the progress of the programmatic execution of projects and present the analysis to the Executive Directorate and Area Coordinators in team meetings for decision-making to support requests for reformulation or extension of projects under implementation.
4. Design and actively participate in the planning and follow-up meetings of the POA and the Institutional Strategic Plan, guaranteeing the integration of the programmatic and administrative processes.
5. Design and implement tools to monitor the reporting schedule and delivery requirements of the projects under implementation.
6. Review and qualify the narrative reports to donors on the progress and results obtained based on the indicators of the projects under implementation and adjust them in accordance with the formats and procedures established by donors and cooperating partners.
7. Support the documentation of good practices and lessons learned from projects for reporting to Executive Management, Area Coordinators and donors when required.
8. Identify, together with the administrative and financial area of Colombia Diversa and under the guidance of the Executive Directorate, the institutional needs for the acquisition of goods or services and for the formulation of new proposals and/or projects.
9. Design and keep up to date a matrix for monitoring calls for proposals and new opportunities for project submission.
10. Support the design, implementation and elaboration of terms of reference for the development of mid-term or final evaluations required for projects under implementation and training processes for capacity building in formulation.
11. Participate under the guidelines and orientations of the Executive Directorate, in meetings and spaces for the formulation and programmatic follow-up and evaluations of the projects in execution cited by cooperants and donors of Colombia Diversa.
12. Take minutes and organise the digital and physical archive with the documentation of the contracts or agreements and projects formulated and implemented by Colombia Diversa within the framework of the projects.
Type of recruitment:
Service contract for 6 months with the possibility of renewal depending on performance. The contract will be signed immediately upon completion of the selection process.
Value: The value will be assigned according to experience, studies and in accordance with the salary scale of the organisation. It will have a monthly value of approximately $6,000,000 to 7,000,000/month.
Dedication: A minimum availability of 25 hours per week is expected.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate: Political Science, Social Sciences or Law.
 - Postgraduate studies: Specialisation and/or master's degrees in Project Management, Development Management or International Cooperation will be an asset.
 - Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience working with social organisations, human rights organisations, women's or feminist organisations or LGBT organisations. Verifiable experience in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of social projects.
 - Expertise: Knowledge of human rights is required. Knowledge of gender and LGBT rights would be an asset. In addition, knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point. The use and knowledge of other tools for project monitoring would be an asset.
 - Language: C1 -minimum B2- certified level of English would be an asset.
 - Place of residence: Once the health crisis has been overcome, under the terms decreed by the authorities, he shall reside in Bogotá, Colombia.
 - Availability to carry out virtual and face-to-face activities. The latter under the terms established by the health authorities.
