If I am a foreigner and my partner is Colombian, can I apply for Colombian residency?

In Colombia it is not possible to access residency as a first entry visa to the country, except for a person who is a parent of a Colombian national by birth or a person who has renounced Colombian nationality[8]. In the case of married couples or those in a common-law marriage, they can initially apply for a TP-10 visa[9] from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is valid for three years and allows the foreigner to work. In the case of the foreign partner, after having held the TP-10 visa for 3 years, it is possible to apply for a resident visa.
